Possibly Vast Greenhouse Gas Sponge Ignites Controversy
Article Abstract:
A controversial theory that 2/7ths of the carbon dioxide produced by earth's ecosystem is unevenly adsorbed by 'carbon sinks' - areas that adsorb more than their share - is being evaluted and debated by the greenhouse effect research community. If true, it may mean that the US does not have to reduce its emissions as much as dictated by the Kyoto agreement.

Warming early Earth and Mars
Article Abstract:
Scientists theorize that a greenhouse effect may have kept the atmosphere of early Earth and Mars warm enough to keep water liquid in spite of the low level of solar radiation. Research indicates that methane photolysis was important in creating the greenhouse effect.
