Predicting the effects of overloads on fatigue crack growth in an AI-Sic MMC using a computational model
Article Abstract:
The quantification of the effects of overloads and the extension of the fatigue modeling approach to account for these effects are described and investigated. The model considers the effects of periodic overloads, where individual overloads may interact with each other.

Experimental technique for elevated temperature mode I fatigue crack growth testing of Ni-base metal foils
Article Abstract:
An experimental method studies the mode I fatigue crack growth behavior of Ni-base superalloy foil at a room temperature. High fatigue crack propagation rates are seen to occur in thin metallic foils.
