Wood Buffalo National Park: a borderline experience

The Wood Buffalo National Park is an example of a wilderness reserve that is threatened by commercial and agricultural activities on adjacent lands. This calls for the practice of a strong conservation ethic for the rest of the landscape.

Court orders case against Cheviot Mine to proceed

The Federal Court of Appeal has upheld the case filed by the Canadian nature Federation and environmental groups against Cheviot Mine. The mine development proposal was expected to affect wildlife movements in the area.
