Pursuing polygonal privacy
Article Abstract:
Possible solutions to the Opaque Square problem are examined to establish the usefulness of combinatorial geometry. The problem assumes the need for an opaque fence, a barrier to prevent a straight line-of-sight across a plot of property, that must be made as short as possible. Numerous configurations are explored, from a simple square fence to a Steiner tree.
