Rediscovering the Quill Lakes
Article Abstract:
The Quill Lakes is the largest saline lake in Canada. It lies in the center of the Saskatchewan farm country and is a favorite of shorebirds because of the shallowness of its water. It became part of the Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network in 1994.
