U.C. Berkeley researchers seek to accelerate wastewater treatment process
Article Abstract:
Researchers of University of California at Berkeley want the present loading levels of treating wastewater to be increased by fifty percent. The researchers are currently working to increase treated wastewater production so that the water demand by farmers to irrigate their farms can be met.

Forensic engineering: lack of reinforced-concrete walls cited in earthquakes building failures
Article Abstract:
The research findings on seven major earthquakes, which had rocked Turkey since 1992, reveals that, absence of interior reinforced-concrete walls, lead to the collapse of most of the school buildings. The research was conducted separately by universities in Turkey and United States.
