Right to die
Article Abstract:
A four year study of terminally ill patients indicates that living wills and other methods used to establish dying patient wishes, have not had the impact proponents hoped for. The Patient Self-Determination Act, passed in 1990, was designed to give patients and families more say in the event of death.
