Science reunification in Germany: a crash program
Article Abstract:
Reunification created an opportunity to replace the archaic and bankrupt East German science and education system with innovative concepts, but instead an immediate imposition of the Western system took place. A detailed interim report on the integration of German science is presented.

Kohl replaces science minister
