Cadillac is testing an ingenious headlight on its model 2000 Cadillac DeVille automobile that can easily identify humans and objects at night. The infrared detector, an adaptation of military technology used in the Vietnam War, allows drivers to see figures ahead and avoid them in a timely manner.
