Senate raps NASA on cost overruns: space station
Article Abstract:
John McCain, chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee, has threatened NASA with an annual cost cap on the $30 billion international space station. He was reacting to the rapidly shrinking contingency fund for the project, a result of growing US contractor overruns totalling $300 million thus far.
