Strange new world
Article Abstract:
The successful landing of the Huygens probe on Titan, Saturn's large and mysterious satellite, delighted planetary scientists, who thrilled at the probe's images of icy ridges and dark, river like channels. Titan is similar to earth in many ways, as it has a thick atmosphere composed mainly of nitrogen, and methane, which condenses at low temperature and appears to play the same meteorological role on Titan as water does on Earth.
