Test Tube Evolution Catches Time in a Bottle
Article Abstract:
Researchers at Michigan State University are using test tube experiments with microbes to answer questions about the evolutionary process. The method allows researches to study how evolutionary processes from one round of selection affects how an organism reacts in the next phase. How well these findings will generalize outside of the test tube remains to be seen.
