Fox's flapdoodle: tabloid television offers a lesson in uncritical thinking
Article Abstract:
The decision by Fox Broadcasting Corp. to televise a show that claims the landings of the Apollo missions were created in a film studio, because they did not really happen, was an error. Article Abstract:
The evidence of anthropogenic global warming that has converged to cause environmental skeptic to make a cognitive flip and call for economy-wide reduction of carbon emissions is discussed. Even if carbon dioxide emissions is reduced by 70 percent by 2050, average global temperatures would increase between two and nine degrees by 2100 which could lead to the melting of the Greenland Ice Sheet resulting in sea levels to rise five to 10 meters displacing half a million inhabitants.
