Netting the deep sky
Article Abstract:
Units from the Babylonians are used to accurately fix the stars in the sky. About 1,000 star positions were made around 150 B.C. Those measurements were further refined though the years to 1712 when they were made accurate to about 10 arc seconds.

Leonardo da Vinci designed a 24-ft statue of a horse during the time that he worked in Milan, but the bronze statue was never cast. A nonpofit American organization built the Horse 500 years later and donated it to the city of Milan.
