The challenge of sustainable water
Article Abstract:
The impact of population growth, pollution, ground water depletion and global warming on water supplies around the world is discussed. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has done an excellent job in mobilizing the search for scientific consensus and possible solutions, whereas a parallel effort on science, technology and policy for water is required for similar global benefit.
