The convertible tunnel: Malaysian project to double as storm drain
Article Abstract:
The design and features of a dual-purpose transportation structure called the Storm Water Management and Road Tunnel, or SMART, conceived by MMC Engineering Group, are discussed. SMART aims to reduce vehicular congestion at the southern entrance to downtown Kuala Lumpur and to control flooding.
