Article Abstract:
The situation of the collapsing of the World Trade Center towers and a portion of the Pentagon disaster presents an ethical quandary to those making a profit from engineering work carried out in response to disasters, whether natural or caused by the hand of man. Disaster related work allows ample opportunity to increase the professional reputation of engineers.

The situation of storm-water and sewage collection worsened in Portland, Oregon by the early 1990Es. In 1991the City of Portland's Bureau of Environmental Services entered into partnership with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality to curb this overflow within the year 2011.
