The implementation of technology transfer in Sino-foreign joint ventures
Article Abstract:
The Chinese government's preference for Sino-foreign joint ventures can be attributed to its adherence to the socialist ideology and the negative attitude shown by the Chinese people towards wholly foreign-owned companies. China remains one of the world's most powerful communist states and it does not want its economy to be entirely dependent on foreign investments. This attitude underscores the need for company officials doing business in China to evaluate the different factors that will ensure successful technology transfer in the country.

Technology transfer to developing countries

The model also considers the different application fields of technology transfer and how they affect market penetration and the standard of living of the recipient nations. Moreover, it proves the concept that successful technology transfer can only be achieved if the nations involved in the process work for a common goal that will benefit their interests.
