Businessman David A. Brady has settled his case with the FTC for selling products which supposedly can cure male impotency. Brady sold the products to more than 150,OOO customers and earned $18.5 million in the process. He was ordered to give up $2 million worth of frozen assets.

A description is presented of a sniper detection device which allows the armed forces to track back the trajectory of bullets fired by enemy forces. The device incorporates a compass and microphones and has been developed by BBN Technologies.
