Article Abstract:
The Washington, D.C.-based company, which compares client's DNA with that of ethnic groups living mainly in West and Central Africa, is aiming to recover the family ties destroyed by the slave trade. By tapping into the continent's high genetic diversity, the approach might overcome the difficulty of interpreting DNA markers shared across populations on the continent.

Dialing in: Mobile phones target the world's nonreading poor
Article Abstract:
The article illustrates how mobiles are useful to the tech savvy but has very little place in the lives of non-literate people. The mobile company Motorola decided to solve this problem by introducing 'Motofone' which has three basic features 'calling', 'managing numbers' and 'simple text messaging'.
