Training Viruses to Attack Cancers
Article Abstract:
Companies and research teams are developing viruses that kill cancer cells without harming normal tissues. The anticancer viruses have the ability to replicate and spread throughout a tumor. Research on oncolytic viruses may lead to viruses that make cancer cells more susceptible to chemotherapy and radiation as well as killing them.
