Trinidad's leatherback sea turtles
Article Abstract:
The project aims to aid a massive sea turtle protection effort that serves as a model for combining community-based conservation and ecotourism. Suzan Lakhan, Dr. Scott Eckert, Dennis Sammy and his project team will patrol the beach nightly to tag and record data on more than 2,000 leatherback sea turtles that nest annually at Matura.

Green turtles of Malaysia
Article Abstract:
Dr. Joan Whittier and his project team aims to monitor green turtle nesting on the Malaysian peninsula to understand how environmental conditions affect nesting success. The team will work to measure turtle, take data on its markings and nesting site, and collect blood samples and egg samples for toxicological analysis.
