Yellow fever shot is fulfilling the perfect vaccine information since 1930s, when it was first created at the Rockefeller University. Scientist and others are working to make the immune-stimulating features of various vaccines onto the yellow fever shot.

Painkillers from the sea

The development of the painkiller drug ziconotide from the venom of a sea snail by Elan Pharmaceuticals is discussed. The drug, based on a peptide from the Conus magus snail, prevents nerve cells and spinal neurons from communicating.
