Article Abstract:
The Higgs particle, which is believed to account for the origin of all mass, had been thought too big for most available particle accelerators. A new, more powerful accelerator is under construction at Organisation Europeenne pour la Recherche Nucleaire in Geneva, Switzerland. Now, estimates of Higgs' mass have narrowed, and an existing accelerator may be able to generate it.
