Battle for the Kim Son Valley: Clutched in the Eagles's claw
Article Abstract:
The 1st Air Cavalry Division was given the unenviable task of driving the communists from the fertile Kim Son Valley after clashes with North Vietnamese Army and Main Force Veit Cong units in the An Lao Valley. The Operation Eagle Claw during last half of February 1966 is described.

Deadly day at Dong Son
Article Abstract:
Operation Swift, one of deadliest Vietnam battles at Dong Son on September 4,1967 is presented. The battle cost the lives of 130 soldiers, 54 were killed in navy, and 104 were wounded at Dong Son alone, also 5 navy crosses were awarded during 11-day operation swift

Going toe-to-toe at Tam Quan
Article Abstract:
The most fatal engagement of Operation Pershing around a village called as Dai Dong in Vietnam was fought from 6 to 20 December, 1967. The two-week long battle is described, which was faced by the 1st Brigade of the 1st Cavalry Division who came back victorious.
