The influence and the intellectual link between Georg Simmel's thinking on 'The Labyrinth of Solitude' is decrypted. The influence of Georg Samuel's thinking on sociology with Octavio Paz is that they both use dualism as their main tool for analysis and the interwoven nature of diversity of the social world could be observed in their analysis and social forms and types are revealed to attract the destiny of a particular age.
