Defining disability in the aftermath of Sutton; where do we go from here?
Article Abstract:
Issues regarding the effects of the Sutton v. United Airlines, Inc., trilogy of cases that disabled persons whose disabilities are corrected by medication or assistive devices no longer quality as disabled under the ADA are discussed. Nearly 100 have come to different conclusions on these rulings, making it hard to see a pattern for future plaintiffs.

Assisted suicide and disability; another perspective
Article Abstract:
The claim that the Supreme Court should rule against assisted suicide and euthanasia, since these are deadly forms of discrimination, is argued. The marketing of assisted suicide as a way of increasing individual freedom is false, and. Not Yead Yet, a national disability rights group, opposes these measures.

The need for acceptable Web design standards to enable disabled persons to navigate Web pages is discussed. These are mainly hearing and visual disabilities. By Feb 2000, the US Access Board is accepted to issue standards for accessible Web design. Requirements for such design are listed.
