Does culture moderate the relationship between sexual orientation and gender-related personality traits?
Article Abstract:
This article examines personality traits associated with gender in a sample of gays, lesbians, and heterosexuals from three cultures to investigate the relationship between sexual orientation, personality, and culture. Results indicate that homosexuals and heterosexuals had significant differences in gender-related traits which were greater in participants from traditional cultures.

Children's play in cross-cultural perspective: a new look at the 'Six Cultures' study
Article Abstract:
This study examines data from the 'Six Cultures' study, a cross-cultural research project on children's play conducted in 1950. Analyses of play behavior in children from six different cultural backgrounds suggest that cultural norms and social environments mediate role playing, fantasy, games with rules, and creative-constructive play.
