Equilibrium existence in the circle model with linear quadratic transport cost
Article Abstract:
The existence of a unique perfect equilibrium in the linear quadratic type of transportation cost function with concave properties was confirmed by analyzing the price and location decisions of duopolists. Transportation cost functions are said to be in equilibrium if and only of the linear term is equal to zero. It was further established that there are particular feasible locations for firms that do not contain price subgame equilibrium.

The system of towns with spatial public goods
Article Abstract:
Research describing a model of spatial public goods is presented. Provision costs are assumed to depend on the benefit area size and it is shown that the competitive equilibrium allocation of such an economy is efficient.
