Logic of knowledge
Article Abstract:
Logic emerged as a specific domain in western philosophy with Aristotle, who sought to identify connections and differences between all the domains of knowledge, establishing an analogical basis for the otherwise distinct fields of episteme (science), praxis (action) and poiesis (production). However, an alternative logic emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in the wake of several diverse cultural strands, including the French avant-garde, psychoanalytic experiment, among others.

Article Abstract:
"Undercover Surrealism" at Hayward Gallery is an ambitious project in which the short but controversial life of Georges Bataille's Documents brings out confusing juxtaposition of images and articles. The exhibition presents an ensemble of texts and images from the magazine Documents and thus a question is raised that what happens to the subversive intentions of a project like Documents in the scholarly historicist environment of public exhibition space.

Deconstruction
Article Abstract:
The notion of deconstruction as used by J. Derrida in 'Of Grammatology' is best understood in terms of certain effects that are inevitably produced by traditional philosophical texts that fail in their various attempts to isolate or identify a pure value against diverse conditions that would tarnish that purity. Deconstruction names the powerful and transferable effects of this inevitable failure.
