Measuring emerging categories of innovation: Modularity and business model
Article Abstract:
Analysis of the technology development and society, and the effect of the new categories of innovation like modularization and new business model creation, with the emergence of Information Technology (IT) are studied. Two new categories of technical change identified by C. Freeman, namely the change in the technology system and the change in the technoeconomic paradigm are discussed.
