On the public provision of the performing arts
Article Abstract:
A novel approach which represents the performing arts as public goods is advanced. Data from German performing art sector is used to derive a model that gives profit maximization. Factors affecting the model, such as congestion, public provision of arts, public facilities, etc. are discussed in detail.

Copycat gaming: a spatial analysis of state lottery structure
Article Abstract:
By an examination of the tax structure of state lotteries in the United States, it is shown that state lotteries face interstate tax competition. Payout rate of state lotteries is influenced by the payout rates of neighboring states.
