Romantic relationships in later life
Article Abstract:
This article discusses both the common and diverse aspects of romantic relationships of the aged. The author explores shared changes, such as physiological aspects of aging, cultural differences that define intimacy, various relationships, such as marriage, remarriage, divorce after a long marriage, homosexual relationships, and loss of a partner, and maintains as couples age they commonly become more dependent upon each other.

Article Abstract:
This article examines interpersonal relations of elderly gays and lesbians. The author challenges the notion that gays and lesbians end up alone later in life, arguing homosexuals enjoy long term intimate relationships, both romantic and through platonic friendship.

This article examines the extent to which older people use the Internet as a form of communication. The author uses surveys of older Americans and finds that a significant porportion of them use the Internet.
