The cyborg embryo: Our path to transbiology
Article Abstract:
A review of Donna Haraway's 1976 book," Crystals, Fabrics, and Fields", is presented, with discussions on the cyborg embryo and its legacy of transbiology, as well the human embryonic stem cell research. It is argued that the domain of the transbiological tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, cloning and stem cell science are heirs to the legacies of agriculture, physics, and reproductive biomedicine.

Flanerie for cyborgs
Article Abstract:
A review of Donna Haraway's "Cyborg Manifesto" is presented, with an up-date of her cyborg sites, 2006. It is argued that just as the flaneur can be interpreted as a nineteenth-century literary device to seek the truth in the flux of public space, so the cyborg is a science fiction literary device that encapsulates truths of genetic space.

Unfinished work: From Cyborg to cognisphere
Article Abstract:
A qualitative analysis and review of Donna Haraway's "A Manifesto for Cyborgs" (1985) is presented. It is suggested that much urgent and pressing work remains to be done, as the cognitive sphere takes up where the cyborg left off, and the dynamic cognitive that flows between human, animal and machine, or the cognisphere, is multiple.
