Attachment dimensions and drinking-related problems among young adults: the mediational role of coping motives
Article Abstract:
This article examines the relationship between insecure adult attachment styles and harmful drinking patterns among young adults. The authors, studying a population of college student drinkers, conclude the students with a negative veiw of self developed more drinking problems.

Relationships between binge drinking and substance-free reinforcement in a sample of college students: a preliminary investigation

This article explores the relationship between binge drinking among college students and substance-free reinforcement. The authors maintain that a lack of substance-free reinforcement increases the liklihood of binge drinking and the engagement in risky behavior.
