The significance, objectives and process of implementing the community informal care and welfare systems in Asia-Pacific countries are discussed. The strategies to implement follow-up plans, draw implications for developing professional networks and offers insights, for replicating similar exercises elsewhere are examined.

Social development content in the courses of Australian social work schools

The author has determined that the current Australian social work school curriculum lacks a social development program. Several strategies for designing and integrating social development programs in social work schools are described.
