Emergent, untrained stimulus relations to many-to-one matching-to-sample discrimination in rats
Article Abstract:
An investigation of whether rats formed emergent, untrained stimulus relations in many-to-one matching-to-sample discrimination is conducted. The findings suggest that rats may form emergent, untrained stimulus relations between the discriminative stimuli in many-to-one matching-to-sample discriminants.

Typicality effects in contingency-shaped generalized equivalence classes
Article Abstract:
Two experiments are conducted using match-to-sample methodologies in an effort to model lexical classes, which include both arbitrary and perceptual relations between class members. Probe tests have revealed the formation of open-ended generalized equivalence classes.

Equivalence relations in individuals with language limitations and mental retardation
Article Abstract:
Research on mentally disabled persons with language limitations indicates that positive equivalence testing outcomes do not require naming skills. Data were obtained from 55 subjects with moderate, severe or profound mental disabilities.
