The revised caregiver burden scale: a preliminary evaluation
Article Abstract:
An alternative scale is presented for assessing and quantifying perceived caregiver burden, which reduces previously established categorical measures by fewer than half. After subjecting the alternative scale to experimentation, it is posited that it is useful as an assessment tool, but can be supplemented with additional measures from the previous scale.

Reintegrating children into the system of substitute care: Evaluation of the exceptional care pilot project
Article Abstract:
A program initiated by a state child welfare agency for its most hard-to-serve youth is evaluated by presenting findings from a pilot study. Outcome data shows that 85% of children had reductions in state-designated level of care and movement to less restrictive treatment placements.
