From helping children improve academics to forming a credit union NAHRO-Award-Winning local housing agencies (LHAs) are improving residents' lives. The housing authority sets up a credit union that offers basic banking services along with financial management training.

Housing agencies that have developed and managed innovative administrative programs are highlighted. Such organizations serve as examples in improving processes and procedures in an environment, which is challenged by increasing workloads and diminishing staff ratios.
