The Mercedes CLK63 has a bigger engine and the fastest 0 to top down against the Jaguar XKR Convertible, Shelby Mustang GT500 Convertible and the BMW MG Convertible. The GT500 and the M6 both have 500 horsepower each while the XKR gets lower marks for its ungainly nose cone due to European pedestrian safety standards.

The Bugatti Veyron gets 1001 horsepower from its 16-cylinder engine, four turbochargers and 10 radiators. Porsche's 9ff T9 carries a twin-turbo 4.0-liter flat six engine with 987 horsepower compared to SSC's Ultimate Aero Twin TT's 1,183 horsepower from its twin-turbo 6.3-liter V8 engine.
