Implicit theories and evaluative processes in person cognition
Article Abstract:
Some researchers consider evaluative processes as a foundation of social perception. Different approaches of social knowing that were linked to theories on the nature of personality include trait diagnosis and evaluative encoding of social information and focusing on understanding emotions, goals and beliefs. These methods explain how people understand the social world consistent with the cognitive processes they engage in.

Perspective taking in children and adults: Equivalent egocentrism but differential correction
Article Abstract:
Children generally behave more egocentrically than adults when assessing another's perspective. An experiment conducted during a referential communication tracking participant's eye movements indicated that children and adults were equally quick to interpret a spoken instruction egocentrically but differed in the speed with which they corrected that interpretation and looked at the intended (non-egocentric) object.
