Article Abstract:
Plane operations have been cut by 13 percent from 2000 to 2008 but there are 31 percent more passengers from 2003 to 2007. This means that airlines have had to reduce legroom on their planes while also overbooking their planes to compensate for people who do not show up for their flights.
