New professionalism, trust and competence: Some conceptual remarks and empirical data
Article Abstract:
The relationship between professionalism, trust and competence, and some conditions for a new professionalism as a means for providing trust and confidence in professional work organizations are discussed. The concept of professionalism is not directly linked to confidence or trust, but only indirectly through concepts such as ethics and responsibility and it is the cognitive attitudes towards professionalism that has formed the decisive basis for trust in professionals.

Sibling relationships in adulthood and old age
Article Abstract:
A study of sibling relationships across life span reveals that sibling contact and support reduces as age increases. The sibling support is more of emotional or social support and less of instrumental support.
