Nonmedical use of prescription opioids among U.S. college students: Prevalence and correlates from a national survey
Article Abstract:
The prevalence rates and correlates of nonmedical use of prescription opioid analgesics were examined among U.S. college students in terms of students and college characteristics are examined. The results revealed that the lifetime prevalence of nonmedical prescription opioid use was 12% thus providing evidence on the nonmedical use of prescription opioids.
