Paradigm transformations of Russian television
Article Abstract:
Soviet Television despite its authoritarian character was socially responsible and TV was a feedback between the public and the authorities. Once the reforms were implemented, a fundamental change in the activity of the mass media arose with the basic principle becoming freedom of speech and presently TV is totally devoid of public criticism and the public's access to information on what is going on around them is becoming weaker over time.

Characteristics of the adaptation of poor and well-to-do families
Article Abstract:
The four patterns of adaptation that Russians have typically developed are determined by analyzing the population's adaptation process and the characteristics of the adaptation. Results concluded that a majority of families choose active independent forms of adaptation and focus first and foremost on their own efforts and resources.

Formal and informal employment: A paradoxical similarity against the background of obvious differences
Article Abstract:
The problems relating to unlawful practices of job placement and employment and the difference between formal and informal employment in Russia are discussed. The two most widespread practices of employment in Russia are official hiring and working on the basis of a verbal understanding.
