Public policy for the elderly: are priorities shifting? Unfamiliar choices for advocates in the 1990s
Article Abstract:
Pres Bill Clinton's policy for the elderly aims to increase the services offered to the aged. However, special interest groups offering services solely with profit motive may increase. The government should introduce steps to ensure the proper implementation of the policy. New ideas in social care should be encouraged to improve the services offered to the elderly.
