Relationships among physiological and self-report responses produced by cocaine-related cues
Article Abstract:
The physiological responses of cocaine users to cocaine are determined using results of a study of 150 subjects. The subjects are found to have lower skin temperatures and skin resistance, higher rates of heart beat, and feelings of craving, high and withdrawal responses. It is suggested that future studies should be focused on the determination of the effectiveness of the treatments instead of on the types of responses to cues.
