Substance abuse as a dynamical disease: evidence and clinical implications of nonlinearity in a time series of daily alcohol consumption

This article examines the application of a nonlinear model to assess the severity of substance abuse. The authors argue the nonlinear model was superior to the linear model when analyzing the dynamics of alcoholism and daily drinking patterns.

Side effects of Dextromethorphan abuse, a case series

The Dextromethorphan (DXM) abuse side effects are investigated. Results reveal that Neurological and psychological symptoms are the most common side effects in DXM abusers.
