The director of 'The Star Wars' made a movie called THX 1138 in 1971, which hardly saw the light of day and is being re-released on September 10, 2004. The most uncompromising movie of the career of the director, THX was the battle cry of a subversive 26-year-old visionary before he suffocated under a burden of his own mythology.
