The drinking situations of adolescents treated for alcohol use disorders: A psychometric and alcohol-related outcomes investigation
Article Abstract:
Psychometric properties of the Inventory of Drinking Situations (IDS) are examined in a sample of adolescents with Alcohol Use Disorders (AUD) and the relationship between drinking situations to alcohol-related outcomes, one to three years following treatment, is also studied. It is found that negative drinking situations are related strongly to negative emotionality and social situations are related to behavioral undercontrol and alcohol related outcomes are associated with drinking situations mostly one year following treatment.
